Frigate Chapter Seventeen: Completion
Finally complete. This model was another attempt to improve for me and I it has taught me that I actually am capable of working with wood and having patience. The interesting thing for me is the difference which having the right tools and knowledge makes. It stops you attempting to force things and maybe spending wasted hours when a far more pleasurable approach can be made. Due to this dry run I now intend to raise the bar considerably and move into scratch building. Firstly with the Triton cross section just so I can check if I can start moving to the 'perfect' approach as opposed to the 'that will do' approach that lack of knowledge almost always leads to. This does mean my modelling will slow down considerably. But its not the finising that counts in life but the journey taken to get there.
